The End is the Beginning, is the Beginning is the End

Well folks, I managed to focus too heavily on the image that sat before me. Fairly soon the pictured made way to paint, the paint to the canvas, the canvas to the fiber, the fiber to the holes in the weave of it all, and before I knew it, I was staring at nothing; lost sight of it all. But how befitting that the end should become the beginning, like a Phoenix being born again from its own pile of ashes. There are no lines in this world that are not merely the result of your eyes and mind playing tricks on you.

Correlations Between Blood and Qi

What is Qi, and how does it correlate to daily life? Qi, pronounced chi, being the circulating life force is within all things, from early Chinese philosophy. It is also seen as the invisible forces that connect all things. So, how does this correlate with blood? Well besides the obvious description of a life force that is circulating, it is also written in order to regulate one’s Qi they must regulate breath, which is also one and the same with blood. I feel as though it delves deeper, though. Blood has magnetic properties, it has been shown that hemoglobin can form magnetism while processing oxygen. So, if one were to want to transfer Qi towards another object, in theory, one would just have to focus their blood flow to a specific area and one may be to emit an electromagnetic field that could react with something else. This seems to also fit in with descriptions of Reiki as well, which in essence is the ancient art form of healing through naturally occurring electromagnetic waves. If you wish to practice this, try looking at and thinking about your hand until you begin to feel more with it, with the heightened neuron senses, they must be pulling more blood supply to aid them, and therefore increasing the electromagnetic resonance. Once you have harnessed the flow until your hand becomes warm to the touch, try transferring it throughout your body, I find visualizing it as a light within your minds eye tends to aid the flow as well. We will delve deeper into the streams of Qi at a later date, but this a good place for us to dip our toes in, in The Garden of Knowledge.

This quote was intended to drive the American population to finally reach for the stars and beat Russia to the moon, but I feel as though it translates past that, and speaks novels of the human spirit. Not the spirit in the essence of the mind without the body, but the spirit of humanity that drives us ever towards tomorrow. It’s evolved with us, ever since discovering fire and mapping the stars, which we someday soon may be exploring. It’s the same spirit that drives mere mortals to become Olympians or a single mother who is working three jobs so she can send her child to college one day. We choose to do these things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard, and it is written in each and every one of our DNA to rise up to any challenge, just as humanity always has, and always will.

What is food really at its core, and what has it become today? With people’s work schedules ever on the rise, many are forced into a decision of choosing between their personal/social lives or meal prep time, and many have chosen to hand their meal prep off to someone else who can save them time. The problem with this being that most of these corporations do not have our health in their best interest. What could be the worst that could occur from such mentalities, though? After all, it’s just food.

Fasting for a Healthier Tomorrow

With all the advertising money being funneled into new diets and health crazes, it can be difficult to find pure truths in it. I find the best thing one can do at any point to find what’s healthiest for them, is to check-in with the animal living inside of each and every one of us. It can be easy to remember in this day in age, that we weren’t always the well-groomed beauties that we are today, and weren’t nearly as well fed either.


Time, something one either has too much or too little of in this day in age, but how does it work and where does it all fit in with our reality we perceive. It has become more and more apparent within the physics community that it is much more relative in nature than we tend to observe on a day to day basis. I feel the movie Interstellar does quite a good job at conveying the almost paradoxical essence of it, and if you haven’t had the pleasure of watching that movie I would highly suggest it.

Use it or Lose it

To start off this week, I feel it’s good for us to have a check in on the human brain, how it works in essence, and how I at least make it work for me. As one of the beauties of the world being that everyone is able to see things in their own light, consider these more as suggestions or reflections rather than statements, as it may work for me but not necessarily for everyone.

The Synapses We all Share

I spent a fair amount of time pondering where to go with our stream of consciousness, I came to the conclusion that the best thing would be to find out where our past has led us so far. This leads us to the, however, unfortunate widely ignored world of plant synapses and their communications with each other. The unfortunate truth is that many we meet tend to shrug off the possibilities that many of the creatures we share this planet with may indeed be more complex than we give them credit for, plausibly due to our own issues with superiority and the domineering versus nurturing path, it leads the vast majority down.
